Frequently Asked Questions
Currently, our Q Health Ring tracks a range of metrics, which include Heart Rate, HRV, Body Temperature, Blood Oxygen, Sleep Stages, Movement, among others. Sensors on the inner ring surface contact your skin, accurately capturing data sent to the mobile app for tracking and analysis. Not all of these are individually viewable in the App, but are used to provide information on Sleep, Movement, and Stress (coming soon).
The Q Health Ring features three key sensors for tracking. The PPG sensor measures heart rate and blood flow for heart rate variability, offering insights into various health metrics. The temperature sensor monitors skin temperature to track activity changes, aiding in energy expenditure and overall health tracking. The accelerometer detects motion, measuring daily physical activity for calculating calorie burn and activity levels.
Using photoplethysmography (PPG), sensors emit light onto your skin, measuring changes in light absorption caused by blood flow. A photo detector in the sensor measures the amount of light that is transmitted through the skin. The variations in light absorption correspond to changes in blood volume. The sensor converts these light variations into electrical signals, which are then processed to determine heart rate and blood oxygen levels.

The Q Health Ring is feather-light, Weighing only 2.9g with a thickness of 3mm. It is crafted with Titanium alloy material using a fine injection molding and encapsulation process and recessed sensors on the interior, enhancing both durability and wearability.
It is preferable to wear it on the non-dominant index finger. If this is not possible, either the middle or ring finger will work.
Be sure the sensors inside the ring are on the palm side of your finger. Failure to wear the ring correctly will result in an absence of data.
We don't recommend wearing your Q Health Ring adjacent to other rings as this may cause discomfort or unintended scratching.

Yes, you can wear the Q Health Ring on tattooed fingers. However, please note that if the tattoo is dark and heavy, it may affect the accuracy of the readings obtained from the ring.
When fully charged, the Q Health Ring is designed to operate for approximately 3-5 days under standard usage conditions. However, specific factors such as battery lifespan, environmental temperature, and frequency of use can influence this duration. As is common with all battery-powered devices, a gradual reduction in battery life can be expected after 1 to 2 years. Please note that battery-related replacements are not covered beyond the warranty period.
A full charge will take anywhere between 20-60 minutes depending on the starting charge level.
A fully charged Q Health Ring may last up to five days.
